Toyota i-Road Personal Mobility Vehicle
Toyota has unveiled its new battery-powered electric mobility vehicle, the i-Road, this week at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Measuring 7.7 feet long x 5.7 feet tall x 2.8 feet wide and with a wheelbase of just 67 inches, this two-seat, three-wheeled personal mobility vehicle offers greater flexibility with cost-effective mode in an urban environment. The Toyota i-ROAD weighs just over 660 pounds.
The Toyota i-ROAD is powered by Toyota’s 2kW (2.7hp) electric motors (each is mounted within the front wheels) that have a 30-mile range on a single charge and a top speed of 28 mph.
