The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive, an electric version of Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, has finally made its world debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. This Hot electric car boasts four electric motors that deliver 740 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, making it become the most powerful, fastest electric car currently on the planet.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph. Its 1,200 pounds battery back is rated at 60 kWh and a range of about 150 miles with mixed driving. Charging time can take up to 20 hours, but a new “wall box” quick charger the charging time down to around three hours. Read the rest of this entry »
