2013 Ford Fusion Energi Plug In Hybrid Sedan
The 2013 Ford Fusion Energi Plug In Hybrid Sedan which debuted in public at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year finally has been certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as getting the equivalent of up to 108 mpg in city driving, 92 MPGe highway and 100 MPGe combined.
Fusion Energi is the Ford brand’s fifth electrified vehicle to launch in the past year. It named as “America’s most fuel-efficient sedan” and is expected to improve the company’s record hybrid sales pace. It will join C-Max Energi, Focus Electric and Fusion and C-Max Hybrids.
The recently elected as the “Green Car of the year” also comes equipped with a new-standard set of Ford-patented hybrid technologies, including MyFord Mobile, Eco cruise, EV mode button, Regenerative braking, Hybrid transmission designed by Ford engineers in-house, advanced lithium-ion batteries and Charge port with LED light ring. The Fusion Energi Plug In Hybrid also offers SmartGauge with EcoGuide, SYNC with MyFord Touch and advanced GPS system.
The 2013 Ford Fusion also is available in gasoline-fueled variants with a choice between a pair of fuel-efficient EcoBoost engines and an aspirated four-cylinder engine.
