Ford has introducted its new 2013 Ford Fiesta Van in UK. Unfortunately, there’s no plans for the new Fiesta Van in the U.S.
Designed for commercial customers and described as a “stylish mobile workshop for light-duty tools and equipment,” the 2013 Ford Fiesta Van offers 1.0 cubic meter of load space and has a load length of 1.3 meters and a gross payload ranging from 485-508 kg (1,069 to 1,120 lbs). Its load compartment also comes with a secure steel bulkhead and four cargo tie-down hooks.
Powertrain choices for the new 2013 Ford Fiesta Van include two Duratorq TDCi diesel engines (1.5-liter with 75 HP and 1.6-liter with 95 HP) and one Duratec gasoline engine (1.25-liter with 82 HP). All variants come standard with Auto-Start-Stop, lowered suspension, aerodynamic rear under-tray and wheel trims, as well as low rolling resistance tires.
The diesel engines in the 2013 Fiesta Van achieve CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km and 3.7 l/100 km (63.6 mpg US), while the ECOnetic model- which comes with enhanced fuel-saving technologies – delivers fuel consumption of 85.6 mpg UK (71.2 mpg US or 3.3 liters / 100 km) and has emissions of only 87 g/km.
The 2013 Ford Fiesta Van offers a number of Ford driver assistance and safety features and comes with Ford MyKey, in-car connectivity system Ford SYNC, Active City Stop, Hill Launch Assist, Easy Fuel and Rear View Camera.
In UK, the 2013 Ford Fiesta Van is available for order now, with first deliveries will start next month.
