Benobon: Eco friendly Bent Plywood Bike

Designed by warsaw-based designer Stanislaw Ploski, this bent plywood bicycle is called Bonobo. The bike was recently presented at DMY berlin 2011 as part of the ‘perspective’ exhibition. Intended for urban cyclists, the frame of Bonobo is composed with a strong and lightweight plywood, which can be easily recycled. Plywood is also absorbs vibrations material.

The balancing technology with a natural artisan high quality and the design ensure a comfortable and smooth ride yet styish.

This Eco-friendly Bent Plywood Bike comes equipped with hydraulic disc brakes that are swappable for an internal Gera hub or belt drive train. The hydraulic brakes are also very reliable and low maintenance. Moreover, the green chain, paddle, and handle cover gives it a cool and fresh look.
