Bicymple: Ultra-Compact Chainless Bike
Bicymple, Ultra-Compact Chainless Bike
Designed and built by Josh Bechtel, Scalyfish Designs, this stylish concept bike is called the bicymple. This chainless bike has ultra-compact, lightweight design and short wheelbase (31-inch) designed for a nimble ride, making it is comfortable, easy to ride, and brilliantly simple to maintain.
The Bicymple chainless bike sits on 29-inch wheels and also features an optional rear-steer mode, which is reminiscent of custom “swing bikes” and allows tighter turns, maneuvering and “crab-riding” – it needs more skill. The Bicymple is still in development, and they are currently exploring options for larger scale production and distribution. No word on pricing.
