The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive, an electric version of Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, has finally made its world debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. This Hot electric car boasts four electric motors that deliver 740 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, making it become the most powerful, fastest electric car currently on the planet.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph. Its 1,200 pounds battery back is rated at 60 kWh and a range of about 150 miles with mixed driving. Charging time can take up to 20 hours, but a new “wall box” quick charger the charging time down to around three hours.

The 2014 SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive features full carbon fiber monocoque chassis, carbon ceramic units, a new “Electric Drive” badge on front fenders and redesigned bumpers. The electric models also adds controller for the AMG Torque Dynamics feature, which offers the choice of Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus driving modes.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive will go on sale in Europe next year with a starting price of 416,500 euros (approximately $536,000).
