Shadow Ebike: the World’s First Wireless Electric Bike
Shadow Ebike Wireless Electric Bike by Daymak
Shadow Ebike is the world’s first wireless electric bike created by Toronto-based Daymak, designer, developer and manufacturer of power-assist electric bicycles.
No brake cables, no gear cables and no electric wires running from the motor to the batteries, the controller or throttle, because all are controlled wirelessly via the Daymak Drive controller- Wireless Power ‘On/Off’, Wireless Magnetic Regenerative Brakes, Wireless Throttle and Wireless Pedal Assist.
Comes with sleek and clean form, Shadow Ebike also has a USB port, a charging port, an LED battery power display, regenerative breaks as well as a wheel that completely houses a 250W or 350W motor, 36V 10AH Lithium battery. The wheel also doubles up as a generator and able to charge devices via the USB port.
The electric motor provides an average range of around 20 to 25 km (just motor power) and around 35 to 40 km (22 to 25 miles) with pedal-assist. The battery battery takes between four and five hours to completely recharge and is good for 750 to 800 cycles.
Daymak says the use of wireless technology also means the Shadow is setup for future upgrades to interact with smartphones and even PCs.
The Shadow Ebike wireless electric bike with simple aesthetic look is priced at US$1,999.
