Prius Projects Concept Bike, Mind-Reading Futuristic Bike_1

Parlee Cycles and DeepLocal have created a futuristic concept bike that allows users to shift gears with their minds. This Futuristic Bike is built for Toyota Prius Projects.

Parlee is the premier builder of both custom and semi-custom carbon fiber race bicycles. And in this project, Parlee’s execution is flawless. The bike comes with a neuron helmet designed by Patrick from DeepLocal, and use this readily-accessible technology (neuron helmet) to actually shift the bike.

Deeplocal teamed up with Saatchi & Saatchi, Parlee Cycles, and Toyota to build this lightweight bike, complete with carbon-fiber frame, smartphone dock, and a high-tech headgear. DeepLocal also has designed a smartphone app that would monitor heart rate, speed and cadence. Overall, this Mind-Reading Bike is elegant and futuristic looking.

While this is by no means the end of the Toyota Prius Project concept bike, it is a point of departure. The bike is now being prepped to be sent around the world and as with any innovation, the public will determine how these technologies trickle down into the market.
