Rinspeed revealed images, video, and some details of its new microMAX electric vehicle ahead of its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The microMAX is commuter vehicle concept merges public and personal transportation. Measuring at 3.7 meters long and 2.2 meters tall, and comes with rectangle shape, the Rinspeed microMAX looks like a tiny bus.
The microMAX concept has unique four upright seats, refrigerator, coffee maker, and several connectivity systems including a graphical VOD instrument panel, a 19-inch HD touchscreen with multi-dimensional interface and GPS function, and tablets for the passengers.
This front-wheel-drive, all-electric vehicle is powered by a forklift drive system, and features an acoustic pedestrian safety system. It boasts a 32kW/130Nm electric motor powered by a lithium-polymer battery, allowing the microMAX to accelerate 0-50km/h in 8.0 seconds before hitting a top speed of 95km/h.
