2013 Citroen Berlingo Electrique

Citroen is going to introduces its 100% electric mobility vehicle called the Citroen Berlingo Electrique the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show that will be held in Hanover, Germany.

The 2013 Citroen Berlingo Electrique is fitted with an electric motor that is powered by a 22.5 kWh battery. The electric motor which drives the front wheels through a speed reducer and a single-ratio gearbox can produce 67 HP (49 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque, and enables the urban delivery vehicle to travel up to 106 miles on a single charge.

When running out, its 22.5 kWh battery can be fully recharged in about 6-12 hours with a domestic wall socket, or, alternatively, using a 380V three-phase terminal can give the battery an 80 percent charge in 35 minutes.

As a commercial vehicle, the Citroen Berlingo Electrique van has a cargo capacity of 4.1 cubic meters (145 cubic feet) and a payload of 675 kg (1488 lbs). Other features include separate electric heating system, regenerative braking system, and Hill start assist coupled to the ESP system.
